ETHIOPIA and SOUTH SUDAN Projects (GCK)

About ETHIOPIA and SOUTH SUDAN Projects (GCK)

Project funds for projects in Ethiopia and South Sudan with the Nuer Tribe through Rebecca Duen.

Rebecca Duen is an South Sudanese born Canadian citizen and a descendent of the Nuer tribe in Africa. She lived in South Sudan until 1993 when she moved with her family to Ethiopia. In 1996, she moved to Canada and settled in the K/W area.

Rebecca became increasingly burdened for her people in Gambala, Ethiopia and other areas of the country and South Sudan. In 2015, with the money she earned from work in Canada, she returned briefly to establish a centre for the ministry in Gambala. In 2016, she returned and purchased land to build a church and share the Word of God. A church was established and she continued with other efforts which include addressing the immediate needs of the people in the areas of food, water, health and education.

MVC will be working together in order to share the gospel of Christ to the Nuer tribe, begin churches and impact the people through addressing their needs.
